Thanks for reaching out to us for more information about our Quaker products. I'll be happy to help so you can select safe products for your family. While we don't have any "nut-free" facilities, we do take allergens very seriously and ingredients, machinery, and cleaning procedures are carefully managed.

As you may know, peanuts and tree nuts are actually two of the Top 8 most commonly allergenic foods in country (as well as egg, wheat, milk, soy, shellfish, and fish). As such, you can be assured that if these ingredients were used at all in any of our products (including natural flavors), or if the products were manufactured in an environment that could expose them to any of these ingredients, these risks would always be clearly labeled for you to review.

For your convenience, I've included an overview of our allergen labeling policy below:

~If any of our products did contain any of the Top 8 allergenic foods, like peanuts or tree nuts, then we will highlight it for you by displaying a "Contains" statement in bold print right below the ingredient listing.

~We also go one step farther, and if any peanut or tree nut ingredients might have even come into contact with one of our products (such as on shared equipment), and we felt that there could be any potential risk to someone with an allergy, we'd highlight that risk for you as well by displaying a precautionary "May Contain" statement in bold print below the ingredient listing.

~This same strict labeling policy applies to all Quaker brand products, including Quaker oatmeal, cereals and snacks, as well as Aunt Jemima, Rice-a-Roni, Pasta-Roni, Near East, and Mothers.

So if you don't see a "Contains" or "May Contain" statement on our product that lists peanuts and tree nuts, then we're confident it would be safe for your daughters. Although, it's important to always check the ingredients, since formulas or production environments may change from time to time.

For more information, we invite you back to the Food Allergy Network, atwww.foodallergy.org .

I hope that this information will be helpful for you, Laura. Thanks for checking with us.
